Online friend Jess and I somehow came up with the idea of doing a regional food exchange. I sent her a box full of Louisiana food mixes, hot sauces, rice, cornbread mix, etc. Yesterday, I got my box of food from NYC!

I’ve, of course, heard of matzo balls, but I’ve never quite been sure what they are… I have some instruction-reading and Googling ahead of me, I’m guessing. ;)

I sent her gumbo mix, jambalaya mix, shrimp creole mix, dirty rice mix, locally-made cornbread mix, popcorn rice, Crystal hot sauce, creole mustard…
That may have been it. I don’t remember exactly.
